Learners in tomorrow's Scotland: Our vital resource

GGiS has partnered the Scottish Parliament’s Futures Forum to develop a year-long futures project exploring the outrageous proposition: 

By 2025, Scotland will be regarded as a world-leading learning nation. 

This ambitious project will take a ‘futures’ look at the learning environment in 2025 and beyond. It is about helping to change attitudes and the ways in which policymakers, educators, employers and all interested parties, as well as learners, think about education and the different forms of learning and skills required for the 21st century.

The project was launched on 8 September 2011. A series of workshops are being held over the coming months to gather the views and hear the perspectives of as wide a range of individuals and organisations as possible.  The following event reports have been published to date:
